Biography

John Harmon was born on June 30, 1905 in Washington, USA. He was an actor and production manager, known for Funny Girl (1968), Star Trek (1966) and The Monster of Piedras Blancas (1959). He died on August 6, 1985 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

In his later years he became a used-book dealer. His shop was located in and took up half of the space of Shirley's Antiques on Topanga Canyon Blvd. just south of Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills, CA. He suffered a stroke, then died about a year later from heart failure. He collected first editions of Mark Twain and was survived by his son.
