Amir Har-Gil

Prof. Amir Har-Gil is an award winning Israeli documentary film director and lecturer. Har-Gil's films deal with the various components of Israeli society. He dealt with the issue of poverty in Israel (Life According to Eve"); the gaps between sectors in Israeli society ("Good Morning Israel", "Good Morning Israel 10 years later" "Good Morning Israel 20 Years later"); the Israeli-Palestinian conflict ("Entangled", "Jerusalem in Line"); the soul searching of a combat pilot ("Sky's End"); personalities who worked for the country ("Poetry Zaban" about Yair Zaban and "Moshe Sneh - The Man who Never Gave Up"). Har-Gil was a member of the Director's Union management in Israel and in the Documentary Filmmakers' Forum. To-date he is a member of the Control Committee of the Directors' Association.
