Biography

Renos Haralambidis is a Greek actor, screenwriter, and film director active in film, television, and theater. Largely self taught, he studied acting in independent workshops in Athens and built a career marked by a distinctive personal style. He made his directorial debut with the black and white romantic film No Budget Story (1997), followed by the cult favorite Cheap Smokes (2000), which established him as a singular voice in contemporary Greek cinema. He later directed The Heart of the Beast (2005) and 4 Black Suits (2010), receiving awards and critical recognition at international film festivals. Alongside his work behind the camera, he has appeared in numerous acting roles, remaining a recognizable and influential presence in Greek popular culture.
