- Nicole Hansen is an award-winning producer and the co-creator, producer, actress, and branding designer of the indie pilot, The Ex-Wives of Beverly Hills.
She began her career appearing as Marilyn Monroe in Billy Idol music videos directed by David Fincher, and she starred in the action film "American Cyborg," playing the "last fertile woman on the planet". She went on to co-produce and act in the indie films "Tinseltown" with Ron Perlman and Joe Pantoliano, and "Beyond the Ashes," starring Tony Goldwyn, Jeaneane Garofalo, and Giancarlo Esposito. Both went on to festivals such as Tribeca, Austin, Montreal, and Santa Barbara.
Nicole produced "Save It," created by her 10-year-old son, Nikos Spiridakis, with Executive Producer Marshall Herskovitz. The 1-minute short debuted as TakepartTV's inaugural YouTube release, ranking #2 among non-profit videos. It ran on CNN and MSNBC during the 2008 Presidential Debates and appears on the Weinstein Company's 2009 DVD releases.
Nicole is the founder of Green Galaxy Enterprises, a production company and consulting firm that builds individuals and corporate brand profiles through sustainable methods with website design, online publishing, social media, film, TV, trans-media, and event production services ranging from story development, product placement, sponsored media, festivals, and distribution outreach. She produced the June 2009 Renewable Energy Conference and Awards Gala at the United Nations, securing speakers and honorees, including Dr. Arthur Nozik of NREL, Dr. Daniel Nocera of MIT, and Billionaire John Paul DeJoria. Nicole then partnered with the Los Angeles Entrepreneurs' Organization to raise funds for renewable energy initiatives and greened their 2009 Business Entertainment Charity event. Nicole also secured and coordinated logistics for the donation of FTL Solar tents to organizations, including the Cine Institute in Haiti, after the 2010 earthquake.
Nicole has appeared as a panelist and has spoken at two Ideation Conferences and for ProVisors. She has served on the boards of non-profits, the National Women's History Museum, and the Sustainable Business Council of LA. She has written blogs and articles published in or on behalf of Habitat for Humanity, The Nation, Indiewire, and Produced By Magazine.
