- I don't think you can be judged for what you did at 16 because I owned three Supertramp albums and I'd like people to forgive me for that.
- Room 101 (1994) is an intense experience because it's just you and the guest; you can't share the burden like you can when there are more of you.
- They Think It's All Over (1995) was finished for me and I felt I'd outstayed my welcome.
- Perhaps there's a reason why I do the job I do - I'm not particularly good at anything else.
