Biography

Gabrielle Hamilton was born on June 16, 1923 in Edmonton, Middlesex, England, UK. She was an actress, known for Great Expectations (1959), The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1960) and Jack the Ripper (1973). She was married to Michael Andrews and John Hollis. She died on June 25, 2014 in London, England, UK.

In 1952, she appeared at Scotland's Pitlochry Festival Theatre, in the play "The Witch". One of her fellow players was John Hollis, whom she would marry the following year. They would divorce by the mid-1960s (following the birth of their daughter, future child star Sarah Hollis Andrews) but would appear together again years later on TV in Strike It Rich! (1986) and The Great Kandinsky (1995).
