Gerry Hambling

Co-founder, The Guild of British Film Editors.
Known for often editing film for Alan Parker.
Started as a sound editor with Pinewood Studios in the 1950's.
Started film editing at age 16.
He has contributed with the editing of three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: Midnight Express (1978), Mississippi Burning (1988) and In the Name of the Father (1993).
