Biography

John Hall was born on August 22, 1943 in Haywards Heath, Sussex, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Billy Bunter of Greyfriars School (1952), Lord Emsworth and the Little Friend (1956) and Outbreak of Murder (1962). He died on February 16, 2000 in Loudun, Vienne, France.

His lifelong partner was the lighting director, David Kaye.

After about six years as a teenage actor on stage and television, Hall became a composer and professor at the Royal Academy of Music.
