- Creighton Hale was born on May 24, 1882 in County Cork, Ireland. He was an actor, known for The Cat and the Canary (1927), The Circle (1925) and The Exploits of Elaine (1914). He was married to Victoire Lowe and Kathleen Bering. He died on August 9, 1965 in South Pasadena, California, USA.

- Appeared in the "Our Gang" serials as the older brother, Jack, to Miss Crabtree (June Marlowe).
- Irish-born actor, picked from the Broadway stage for films in 1914. Typically wearing round glasses, he often played meek or diffident comedy roles in the 1920s. Bad publicity (caused by an acrimonious divorce and his failure to pay for child support or even visit his children) and the fact that he was already in middle age by the time sound arrived led to a sharp decline in his career. He was latterly reduced to uncredited bit parts.
