Don Haldane was born on 3 December 1914 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was a director and writer, known for Child Guidance Clinic (1955), R.C.M.P. (1959) and Nikki, Wild Dog of the North (1961). He was married to Monica and Lee Gordon. He died on 21 September 2008 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
