Biography

Todd Haimes was born on May 7, 1956 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. He was a producer and executive, known for The Glass Menagerie (2010), The Importance of Being Earnest (2011) and Stage on Screen (2000). He was married to Tamar Climan, Jeanne-Marie Christman and Alison Haimes. He died on April 19, 2023 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

"Big River" at the Roundabout Theatre Company on Broadway in New York City was nominated for a 2004 Antoinette Perry (Tony) Award for Best Revival.

He oversaw the Roundabout Theatre Company's rise from a financially struggling off-off-Broadway entity to a major theatrical success story. During his tenure, Roundabout shows won 34 Tony Awards, 58 Drama Desk Awards, 73 Outer Critics Circle Awards, and 14 Obie Awards.

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and received a master's degree in business administration from the Yale School of Management.
