- Captain Haggerty was born on December 3, 1931 in Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Forever (1992), Honeymoon in Vegas (1992) and The Last Dragon (1985). He died on July 3, 2006 in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
- Rose to the rank of captain in the army and used the "captain" title in civilian life as a marketing device. He received a Bronze Star and three Purple Heart medals in the Korean War. He was later a scout-dog training officer at Ft. Carson (CO),l Ft. Ord (CA) and Ft. Benning (GA).
