While living in California, they played guitar and drums, and sang backup with John Denver, Kenny Rogers and The Carpenters.

The twins served in the Army together.

The only time the twin brothers were apart in their entire lives were for 3-1/2 years when Jon left Los Angeles and moved to Nashville. Jim eventually followed suit.

While working and living in Los Angeles, they once had a recoding contract with Capitol Records. They played regularly at Disneyland and other niteries.

Jim was at a Nashville coffee shop when he suddenly collapsed. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
