Hack was hired to replace Paula Kelly as the public defender at the beginning of the second season of Night Court (1984), but she left over "artistic differences" before the completion of only one episode, which was rerecorded with Markie Post. Ellen Foley then finished out that season before Post was hired permanently.

Replaced Kate Jackson on the classic series, Charlie's Angels (1976), for the entire season 4. With her arrival, the angels were glammed up with expensive, elegant clothes and fancy jewels, with costume designer Nolan Miller at the helm.

It had five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and spread across 4,353 square feet. It also includes a second-story primary suite with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool below. The ocean was only a mile away. However, she and husband sold the house in 2021 for $11.4 million.
