- Hack was hired to replace Paula Kelly as the public defender at the beginning of the second season of Night Court (1984), but she left over "artistic differences" before the completion of only one episode, which was rerecorded with Markie Post. Ellen Foley then finished out that season before Post was hired permanently.

It had five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and spread across 4,353 square feet. It also includes a second-story primary suite with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool below. The ocean was only a mile away. However, she and husband sold the house in 2021 for $11.4 million.
