Grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn New York on North 7th Street.

Graduate of the High School of Performing Arts (the school made famous by the movie FAME) as a Music Major. Her instrument was classical clarinet.

Lived in West Berlin for several years as part of the alternative film and music scene. Was a member of the atonal band--Manna Machine.
