Given the script for M*A*S*H (1970). He turned down the offer because he hated it. He says that was one of his biggest career mistakes.

Priscilla Pointer (who appeared in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)) is currently the second at 98, while Zsa Zsa Gabor who also appeared in Dream Warriors (but as herself) is overall the longest-lived at 99.

Passed away just two days before his McQ (1974) co-star Roger E. Mosley.
