Biography

Olga Guillot was born on October 9, 1923 in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. She was an actress, known for Cita con la muerte (1949), Cry of the Bewitched (1957) and Una estrella y dos estrellados (1960). She died on July 12, 2010 in Miami Beach, Florida, USA.

She left Cuba in 1962 and settled in Mexico.

She had performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and other concert halls all over the world.

Her musical song hits included "La Gloria Eres Tu," "Tu Me Actostumbraste," and "Mienteme.".

She participated in the March 2010 protest in support of the Ladies of White, a group of wives and family members of Cuban political prisoners.
