Born in Lienz, Austria, Susanne has been working with Mira Film (Switzerland) since 2012. Since 2021 she is also the Artistic Director of Bildrausch Film Fest Basel. She studied communication science and history at the University of Salzburg. Further education in New York as part of the "Representing Reality" scholarship. Since 1998 Susanne has been working with a focus on documentary film in various areas of production and distribution. Graduate of EAVE-European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, member of the International Documentary Association and EWA - European Women Association.
