- Wolfgang Grönebaum was born on March 14, 1927 in Grabs, St. Gallen, Switzerland. He was an actor, known for Lindenstraße (1985), Notarztwagen 7 (1976) and Achtung Zoll! (1980). He died on March 16, 1998 in Gummersbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
- He died two days after his 71st birthday from complications of pneumonia.
- With his distinctive, sonorous voice, Grönebaum has also appeared as a narrator in numerous documentaries and radio plays, as well as in television series such as "Sendung mit der Maus".
- He began his training at the Folkwang University in Essen in 1946 and worked at the Schauspielhaus Bochum from 1947 to 1949. He then ran his own small theater in Dortmund for a few years.
