- Willy Grunwald was born on February 12, 1870 in Hannover, Germany. He was a director and actor, known for Die Vase der Semirames (1918), Nach dem Gesetz (1919) and Frau Lenes Scheidung (1917). He died on May 8, 1945 in Berlin, Germany.
- Willy Grunwald dedicated devoted to his work and he was soon confronted with the reproach to devote too much to the modernist art. The working conditions became so bad that he asked for his release in 1924.
