Alexandra Grimanis graduated in Film Production from Concordia
University in 1997.
Her student films "Surface" (1996) and "Ice Chrysalis" (1996) won awards for Cinematography and Image Design. Since 1998, she has worked as Technical Coordinator at Main Film in Montreal and co-founded the film production company Stone Lily Pictures.
Completed in 1999, "Mothers of Me" is her first independent film.
