- Grigore Grigoriu was born on April 4, 1941 in Kaushany, Moldavian SSR, USSR [now Causeni, Moldova]. He was an actor, known for Pugachev (1979), Queen of the Gypsies (1976) and Lautarii (1972). He died on December 20, 2003 in Palanca, Stefan Voda, Moldova.
