Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Ole Grepp was born on 15 March 1914 in Bergen, Norway. He was an actor and writer, known for Paria (1965), Sangen om Rondane (1934) and Ransakningen (1967). He was married to Else Avenstroup. He died on 19 August 1976.

Educated at the Deutsches Theater Max Reinhardt-Schule in Berlin 1932-1933.

His father Olav Kyrre Grepp was the leader of The Norwegian Labour Party, 1918-1922.

His brother Asle Helland Grepp was shot by Nazi-government in occupied Norway in February 1945. Together with 33 other Norwegians he was shot in revenge for the assassination of Police-general Karl Marthinsen.
