Biography

Stella Greka was born on April 1, 1922 in Athens, Greece. She was an actress, known for Marina (1947), Broken Hearts (1945) and The Villa with the Water Lilies (1945). She was married to John Avgerinos and Orestis Laskos. She died on January 6, 2025.

She appeared on the Greek capital's music scene at a young age and was mentioned in the Athenian press by the age of 8.

Greka returned to Greece in 1987 and lived in Dionysos, Attica, until her death on January 6, 2025, at the age of 102.

She would come to Greece for summer holidays on the islands, on her private boat.

Greka, who had separated from Lasko, went to the United States in the fall of 1947, living with her brother Angelos in New York.
