- Circa 1953 was employed as a social worker in-between film and television roles.
- Starred along with Isabell Cooley, Paulene Myers, Davis Roberts, Rockne Tarkington, Alibe Copage, and Maidee Norman in an all-black stage version of Picnic which performed at the Beverly Hills Recreation Center (January, 1961).
- In the early 1960s was hired at Columbia Studios to be assistant to producer Robert Cohn (nephew of Harry Cohn).
