Writer/director Joseph Greco's first feature film, Canvas, starred Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden and Emmy Award winner Joe Pantoliano. Canvas won the Alice in the City section at the Rome Film Festival, was personally selected by Roger Ebert for screening at Ebertfest, and was called by The New York Times "a movie that rings emotionally true...with an inner core of integrity and goodness." The film was released by Screen Media Films and Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
Greco learned the business working under the auspices of Academy Award-winning director James Cameron and garnered early acclaim with his short film Lena's Spaghetti, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival. Born in Hollywood, Florida, he is a graduate of the FSU Film School and a proud director member of the Directors Guild of America and The Actors Studio. An avid sailor, Greco splits his time between Los Angeles and South Florida.
