Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Steven Grayhm is a Canadian-American filmmaker who was born in London, Ontario Canada to a Polish German mother and Canadian father whose family lineage descends from the Weskarini Algonquin First Nation people of La Petite Nation (Little Nation) from Western Quebec, Canada.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Steven was nominated for a Hollywood Discovery Award at the Hollywood Film Awards for his award winning short film, Vodka, Winter and The Cry of Violin, for which he starred, wrote, directed and produced. The film, based on a true story about a Polish couple's perilous twilight plight to save their only son from a Nazi German labor camp during the last winter of WWII, and was awarded 'Best International Short' at the New York Film Festival.

Steven made his comedy debut in the summer blockbuster White Chicks becoming a fan favorite as Party Boy alongside the Wayans Brothers. That same year, Steven would receive critical acclaim as Young Eddie in Mitch Albom's, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, for which he starred opposite Academy Award Winner Jon Voight, Academy Award Nominee's Jeff Daniels, Ellen Burstyn and Emmy Winner Michael Imperioli, based on the New Times Best Selling novel.

Steven has performed on stage including multiple stints in the title role of Hamlet and made his foray into the Los Angeles theater scene starring opposite Academy Winner's Al Pacino and Dianne Wiest and Academy Award Nominee, Jessica Chastain in August Strindberg's classic, The Father.

Having taken a much needed hiatus to complete work on his feature film script Sheepdog that focuses on the plight of combat Veterans assimilating back into civilian life, Steven recently returned to the small screen as Liam Cullen as a season two series lead on Netflix's Between co-starring Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy. The following year, Steven joined the cast of Robert Zemeckis' big budget documentary-drama, Medal of Honor..

Steven returned behind the camera in early 2020, to direct himself in the feature film The Secret of Sinchanee for which he also wrote and produced. The film is executive produced by Joe Newcomb (Dallas Buyers Club), and co-stars former NFL'er and Green Beret Nate Boyer and actresses Tamara Austin (Walking Dead) and Laila Lockhart Kraner (Gabby's Dollhouse, Black-ish). The film made its UK premiere at the 2021 Raindance Film Festival in London and was an official selection at 12 International Film Festivals, garnering 3 Wins and 8 Nominations. In October 2021, on a micro-production budget, the film was released worldwide via Vertical Entertainment. The New York Times claimed, "Grayhm's feature debut is a slow-burn thriller that deftly weaves issues of mental illness and family traumas into a cautionary tale set on sacred land. Logan Fulton...makes rural Massachusetts look simultaneously like a winter wonderland and a hellscape."

In 2020, Steven founded Team House Studios. A Film and Media Production Company committed to hiring and empowering military Veterans in front and behind the camera through real hands on training, aimed to create an equal opportunity environment for all genders and backgrounds. To date, Team House Studios has been honored to employ 28 US military Veterans and 6 Gold Star Family members.

Steven has recently completed production on his feature film Sheepdog that focuses on the plight of US military Veterans returning home from combat. Grayhm wrote, directed, produced and starred in the film, which took 12 years to get made, with multiple nationwide research and development road trips, where he met with thousands of military Veterans, First Responders, Mental Health workers, and Gold Star Families. Sheepdog continued a sold out film festival run, garnering major awards wins in all categories, including multiple wins for: Jury Award, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Audience Award for Best Narrative Film. Sheepdog stars Academy Award Nominee Virginia Madsen, Emmy Nominee Vondie Curtis Hall, Tony Nominee Lilli Cooper, SAG Nominee Dominic Fumusa, Matt Dallas, and Grayhm as combat Veteran Calvin Cole. Sheepdog has been heralded as "a rare perfect film" with 5 Stars. Top Film Critic Joe Neumaier says, "Sheepdog stands tall in the company of such giants as Coming Home, American Sniper, and The Messenger." Was born at St. Joseph&#39;s Hospital in London, Ontario Canada. The same hospital as fellow thespians Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

Starred in August Strindberg&#39;s classic &#39;The Father&#39; opposite Al Pacino, Jessica Chastain and Dianne Weist performed at The Tiffany Theatre in Los Angeles. The play was directed by Academy Award Winner Estelle Parsons.

Was co-creator of the #22PushUpChallenge - an online campaign to help raise awareness for veteran suicide and mental health. The campaign went viral with actors Dwayne &quot;The Rock&quot; Johnson, Charlie Hunnam, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris participating.

Wrote and Directed the music video for The Framework&#39;s second second single, Starlight, from their debut album Before Tonight on Last Gang Records starring Kirsten Prout of Twilight: Eclipse.

Wrote and directed the debut music video for &quot;Dry Your Eyes&quot; by musician and sibling Rycky Ruke.

Played the title role of Hamlet at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England.

Steven has played the love interest for two Nickelodeon stars: Victoria Justice on &quot;The Boy Who Cried Werewolf&quot; and Jennette McCurdy on Netflix&#39;s &quot;Between&quot;. He also played Disney star Demi Lovato&#39;s love interest on &quot;Sonny With A Chance&quot;.

Played the title role of Hamlet in a self-produced production performed at the Presentation House Theater in Vancouver, that was the highest grossing play in the theater&#39;s history at the time of its run.
