Biography

Norman Granz was born on August 6, 1918 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was a producer and director, known for Bright Lights, Big City (1988), Ella Fitzgerald - Live at Montreux Jazz Festival 1975 (1975) and The Cheaters (1958). He was married to Greta. He died on November 22, 2001 in Geneva, Canton Geneva, Switzerland.

Founded Clef Records (1946-?). It was later bought by Verve Records.
