Garrett Grant is an American film and music producer with over three decades of experience across Hollywood's biggest studios and streamers. Born into a film family in Southern California's San Fernando Valley - his father a stuntman and actor - Grant began his career as a child actor on Little House on the Prairie and Father Murphy before transitioning behind the camera at 18.
A longtime collaborator of directors Adam Shankman, the Farrelly Brothers, Michael Bay, Lana Wachowski, and Doug Liman, Grant has served as Executive Producer and Unit Production Manager on films generating billions in worldwide box office, including The Matrix Resurrections, 6 Underground, Hairspray, Blue Beetle, and 12 Strong.
Grant's producing work has long embraced music-driven storytelling. His credits include Hairspray and Rock of Ages, the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical; Step Up Revolution, the fourth installment of the globally successful dance franchise; and Justin Bieber's Believe, for which he produced both the documentary film and the live world tour alongside music mogul Scooter Braun and director Jon M. Chu.
In 2025, Grant co-founded Acme AI & FX alongside Ryan Kavanaugh, Matt Kavanaugh, and Lawrence Grey, pioneering a new model of AI-assisted filmmaking. The company's debut feature, Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi - directed by Doug Liman and starring Gal Gadot, Casey Affleck, and Pete Davidson - is billed as the first fully AI-generated, studio-quality feature film. Grant divides his time between London, New York, and Southern California.
