  • She is best known for her extremely popular role as Liz Hillyer Fields on the television soap opera "The Edge of Night". She played the role from December of 1965 to October of 1974. An exceptional actress who was beautiful and perfectly cast as the "girl next door". The sequence in which her character, Liz, was driving with her enemy, Elly Jo Jamison played wonderfully by Dorothy Lyman, who jumped out of the speeding automobile, won "Edge" an Emmy for best Daytime Drama in 1973.

  • After her last roles, she moved from New York to Spain.
  • She originally auditioned to play "Phoebe Smith" on The Edge of Night (1956) but did not get the part. She then was cast as Phoebe's friend, and, in about six months, the show offered her a contract to continue playing the friend.
  • In the early 1970's, during her time on The Edge of Night (1956), she ran a weekly play reading group at St. Luke's Hospital in New York, and also worked in the hospital's detoxification ward with drug addicts. She referred to her volunteer work there as a very rewarding experience.
