- Lena Granhagen was born on January 7, 1938 in Luleå, Norrbottens län, Sweden. She is an actress, known for Damen i svart (1958), Vita frun (1962) and Rider in Blue (1959).
- In 1967 she came to the Stockholm City Theatre where, with the exception of a few guest appearances, she has been permanently engaged ever since.
- Lena became interested in theatre at a very early age and eventually came to play amateur theatre in ABF in her hometown. She later moved to Uppsala and began studying languages at the university, but came to devote herself to student theatre activities. When she made an appearance as a singer at Hotel Gillet, she was discovered by Uppsala's revue king Rune Ek and engaged for his summer revue Tjing-Tjing (1957). She made her professional debut in 1959 in Irma La Douce at Scala.
