Biography

Francis J. Grandon was born in 1879 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was a director and actor, known for The Lure of Heart's Desire (1916), When May Weds December (1913) and Miss Nobody (1920). He was married to Helen Grandon. He died on July 11, 1929 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Prolific silent screen director, former actor. On stage from at least 1895 and in Los Angeles by 1902. Began his film career at Biograph, later working at Triangle and Metro.
