- Mark Grace graduated from Tustin, California High School in 1982. He was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 24th round of 1985 June draft (recommended/signed by Spider Jorgensen) out of San Diego State University where he played with Tony Gwynn. He has made three All-Star Game appearances, including one start. He remains one of baseball's best first basemen.
