Stanislav Govorukhin was born on 29 March 1936 in Berezniki, Russian SFSR, USSR [now Perm Krai, Russia]. He was a director and writer, known for The End of a Beautiful Epoch (2015), The Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment (1999) and Weekend [Uik-end] (2013). He was married to Galina Govorukhina and Yunona Kareva. He died on 14 June 2018 in Barvikha, Moskovskaya oblast, Russia.
