Dave Gorman was born on March 2, 1971 in Stafford, Staffordshire, England, UK. He is a writer and producer, known for 24 Hour Party People (2002), America Unchained (2007) and The Mrs. Merton Show (1995). He has been married to Bethan Gorman since October 8, 2010. They have one child.

Won the HBO Comedy Jury Award for Best One Person Show at the US Comedy Arts Festival 2001 in Aspen Colorado.

Nominated for The Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2001.

Nominated for The Perrier Award at the 2000 Edinburgh Festival.

He has a fraternal twin brother Nick Gorman. He was the control on the "Important Astrology Experiment" Programme.

Dave & Bethan's first child, a son named Eric, was born on 3rd October 2015.

I get hundreds of emails a day, a lot of them from complete strangers, but also from real people I know and like. If they scare me, and there are quite a few that do, then I don't reply. Or if they say 'hey Dave, when are you playing in Sheffield?' I think 'you've ignored the button that says Live Dates and gone right to the button that says Contact Me.' That's impolite. It's like ringing up the editor of the "Radio Times" and saying 'what's on tonight at eight o'clock?'

I'm afraid I am a Busted fan, against my better judgement. Although I hasten to add that they are on the fringe of my taste.
