Lucy Gordon was born on May 22, 1980 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, UK. She was an actress, known for Spider-Man 3 (2007), The Four Feathers (2002) and Serendipity (2001). She died on May 20, 2009 in Paris, France.

Lucy Gordon left two suicide notes before hanging herself in the mansion flat in Paris's 10th arrondissement, at Rue des Petites-Écuries. She shared it with her boyfriend, cinematographer Jérôme Alméras, who was asleep at the time of her death. He found her body when he woke up on the morning of May 20, 2009. Deeply despondent over the suicide of a friend from Britain recently, she was two days shy of her 29th birthday. According to her neighbors, she was arguing with her boyfriend the night before her death.

Moved to Paris after living in New York.

Playing a British TV reporter in Spider-Man 3 (2007), she found early notice as a model while still at an Oxford public school. She went on to become a "Cover Girl" face and moved into acting a few years later.

In 1997, shortly after passing nine GCSEs, she became the face of US make-up giant Cover Girl.

Her father, Richard Gordon, is a teacher from Oxford where he lives with her mother, Susan. Her younger sister is named Katie.
