Biography

Charles Gombault was born on August 25, 1907 in Paris, France. He was a writer, known for Conflit (1938) and Apostrophes (1975). He was married to Primrose Bordier and Simone Renant. He died on September 19, 1983 in Paris, France.

Journalist, author, he was the director of France soir" (1961-1970). His father Georges Gombault (born Joseph Weiskopf, Paris 12 August 1881-30 août 1970, Évian) was also a journalist, a friend of Georges Clemenceau and a co-founder of the French Human Rights Org, la Ligue des droits de l'Homme in 1898.
