Biography

Yekaterina Golubeva was born on October 9, 1966 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, USSR [now St. Petersburg, Russia]. She was an actress and writer, known for I Can't Sleep (1994), Three Days (1991) and 977 (2006). She was married to Šarūnas Bartas and Andrey Kaprin. She died on August 3, 2011 in Paris, France.

She had a long term battle with depression.

Had 3 children with different partners: a son (b.1987) with her 1st husband (he lives in Russia); a daughter (b.1996) with her ex-husband Šarūnas Bartas (lives with him in Lithuania) and another daughter Nastya Golubeva Carax (b.2005) with unknown father (was raised by mother and her boyfriend Leos Carax) in France.
