Biography

Max Gold was born on December 18, 1898 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a director and assistant director, known for Officer of the Day (1926), Neptune's Stepdaughter (1925) and Eight-Cylinder Bull (1926). He was married to Rosa Lee Mayer. He died on January 2, 1930 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

During 1920-1921, Gold was a national handball champion and in 1923, was named the second best basketball forward in the country, later becoming captain of the All American team.
