Despite being an icon in British horror films, she really didn't appear in that many horror classics. Nor did she even make a film for the famous production company, Hammer Horror.

Lynne Frederick played her older sister in Nicholas and Alexandra (1971), even though Candace was eleven months older than Frederick.

Played the Grand Duchess Maria Romanov in Nicholas and Alexandra (1971). However, many contemporary historians and film critics believe that she bore more of a resemblance to Tatiana (who was played by Lynne Frederick) rather than Maria.

Toured Europe with the three actresses who played her sisters (Ania Marson, Lynne Frederick, and Fiona Fullerton) to help promote their film Nicholas and Alexandra (1971).

Her last on-screen appearance was a guest spot on the BBC television seasonal drama series Angels Episode #8.14 (1982) in 1982.

Auditioned for the part of Cinderella in The Slipper and the Rose: The Story of Cinderella (1976), but lost the part to Gemma Craven.
