Biography

Buddy Giovinazzo was born on May 5, 1957 in New York City, New York, USA. He is a director and writer, known for One-Way Ticket to the Other Side (2024), Life Is Hot in Cracktown (2009) and Combat Shock (1984). He has been married to Gesine Giovinazzo-Todt since August 16, 2007. He was previously married to Lori Labar.

Graduated with a Masters in Cinema from the College of Staten Island.

During his ten year break from directing he taught filmmaking at the New York's School of Visual Arts and New York University.

Cousin of Carmine Giovinazzo

Author of the novel "Life Is Hot in Cracktown," which was published in 1993.
