Biography

Banjô Ginga was born on November 12, 1948 in Kôfu, Yamanashi, Japan. He is an actor, known for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005), Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (2004) and Mobile Suit Gundam I (1981). He is married to Gara Takashima.

He also narrated several toy and game commercials from the 1980s up to 1990s.

He also dubbed Alfred Molina's role as Doctor Octopus in the Japanese dub of Spider-Man 2, and voiced Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Until 1982, he was formerly credited under his real name, Takashi Tanaka.
