Biography

Richard Gilbert was born in 1924 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He is a producer and director, known for The Collaborators (1973), Children Learn from Filmstrips (1963) and Haida Carver (1964).

After serving in the RCAF in World War II, he spent ten years as a freelance actor in Montreal, Toronto and England.
