Tony Giglio's career began not with a red carpet, but with a letter. As a college student, he wrote to his hero, director Sam Raimi, hoping for a chance to work in film. Raimi responded-and true to his word, hired Tony as a production assistant on The Quick & the Dead. From there, Tony immersed himself in the trenches of production, learning the art of cinema by working on Heat, The Rock, Liar Liar, Dante's Peak, and Escape from L.A.-earning his film education one set at a time.
From those humble beginnings, Tony rose to become one of Hollywood's most enduring and versatile writer-directors. His work spans action, horror, and franchise filmmaking-stories built on grit, tension, and emotional truth.
