Donn Gift was born on December 14, 1924 in Danville, Illinois, USA. He was an actor, known for The Happy Years (1950), Fighting Father Dunne (1948) and The Enchanted Valley (1948). He died on July 8, 1979 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He played Fodderwing Forrester in "The Yearling" in 1946, a friend of Jody whose character died in the story.
