Biography

Yervant Gianikian was born in 1942 in Merano, Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. He was a director and editor, known for Babaric Land (2013), From the Pole to the Equator (1987) and Oh! Man (2004). He was married to Lucrezia Lerro and Angela Ricci Lucchi. He died on July 3, 2026 in Milan, Lombardia, Italy.

Both of his parents were Armenian.
