Biography

Stephen Geyer was born on November 21, 1950 in Lima, Peru. He is known for The Greatest American Hero (1981), Stingray (1986) and Free Guy (2021).

Has the unique distinction of being the original songwriter (music & lyrics) for all the original episodic songs (30 overall) recorded for The Greatest American Hero television show, as well as being the lyricist for the #1 hit theme, "Believe It Or Not" from the same show.

A Towson University graduate.

The son of a CIA operative.
