Gary Gershaw
Gary grew up in Peabody, a suburb north of Boston. He got the acting bug early, performing in many high school plays. He also developed an interest in photography and went on to study filmmaking at Ithaca College. In his junior year, he interned with MGM Studios in Los Angeles and worked as a production assistant on CHiPs.

After graduating, Gary made L.A. his home and continued working as a P.A. on features such as Jagged Edge and JoJo Dancer Your Life is Calling, among others. At the same time, he was also pursuing acting and made his screen debut in Allan Arkush's Get Crazy. Soon after, he guest-starred on Cheers, followed by other featured performances, including in Mark Rydell's For the Boys.

Meanwhile, Gary began working behind the scenes as a writer/producer of TV promos. Over the years at FOX, Disney, Hallmark, etc. he promoted many programs, including Family Guy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and That 70's Show, to name a few. Ultimately, Gary produced a General Hospital promo that won him the Emmy Award for Outstanding Promotional Announcement - Episodic.
