Pat Gerhardt raised 5 children in a suburb of Los Angeles during her early days as a makeup artist in film. She later moved to Corona del Mar, CA and enjoyed seaside living. Feeling restless for adventure, she went on to establish Las Bougainvillea's, her home and romantic guest casita's in Todos Santos, Mexico where she lived for almost 20 years and continued doing films until her retirement in 2010.
