Biography

Helen Geller was born on November 6, 1927 in Rochester, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for The Onion Movie (2008), The Practice (1997) and Stand Up (2007). She was married to Irving Geller. She died on October 10, 2025 in California, USA.

As a youngster, Helen was "part of 'Meglin Kiddies,' a well-known troupe of acting, music and dance performers, consisting of children up to the age of 16," the Jewish Journal explained. Previous troupe members included Shirley Temple, Jane Withers, Jackie Cooper, and Judy Garland.

Helen is a huge fan of Deanna Durbin, actress and singer. Helen has viewed multiple times every Durbin movie. She is a life member of the Deanna Durbin Society.

Education: (1) Hollywood High School, Hollywood, California. (2) Los Angeles Community College.

Helen speaks perfect Yiddish, and enjoys listening to Klezmer (Ashkenazic folk) music of Central and Eastern Europe.
